Going green is indeed a way of life. I had to change a lot about my daily routine and activities for this new lifestyle. Before, I just let the air condition, and sometimes other appliances too, run while I was not at home. I was doing the exact opposite of conserving energy. But now I try to conserve energy as much as possible, it lowers my (Texas) electricity consumption bill.
When the energy deregulation was implemented, we came up with several Texas electricity suppliers to choose from. Texans saw (Texas) electric rates becoming cheaper as energy suppliers are competing with each other to get customers.
